Moondog HiFi is looking for an experienced, hospitality-driven Assistant Manager (or Manager, depending on experience) to join our growing team. We’re a vinyl-focused cocktail bar where music, food, and community meet, blending elevated Med-Mex dishes from Chef Einat Admony with world-class sound, DJs, and great energy. We’re looking for someone who: • Has strong floor presence and leads by example • Can manage service, reservations, and staff scheduling • Is confident with the backend of Toast • Holds a valid Food Handling Certificate • Coordinates private events, buyouts, and bookings • Hires and trains new staff • Organizes financials, invoicing, ordering, and vendor relationships • Is familiar with NYC regulations including DOH, FDNY, and SLA compliance • Is organized, reliable, and communicates clearly • Understands bar culture, guest experience, and team dynamics • Brings positive energy, curiosity, and a genuine love for hospitality Salary or hourly pay will depend on skill and experience. Performance-based bonuses are offered and tied to sales and overall profitability.
