We are seeking residents of Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties to serve as Jurors for a mock trial to be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Adult residents of Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties, ages 18-70. Date of Mock Trial: Wednesday, November 12, 2025 Hours are from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (with 1 1-hour lunch break) REQUIREMENTS: • MUST BE a U.S. Citizen • MUST BE a resident of Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz counties for a minimum of 1 year • MUST BE 18 years of age or older • MUST HAVE a valid California driver’s license or California State I.D. showing a Monterey, San Benito, Santa Clara, and Santa Cruz county address. • MUST SPEAK, READ & WRITE ENGLISH FLUENTLY • MUST BE ABLE to sit for extended periods, watch and listen to presentations on a screen, take notes, and complete forms on an iPad. ⁣ • MUST HAVE a minimum High School Diploma; persons with college degrees are encouraged to participate HOW TO PARTICIPATE: • You can sign up to participate at https://jrsmocktrials.com/survey. • Please enter your information into the sign-up form only once. • You must enter your information completely and accurately. • For more information, please read the FAQs section of our website at https://jrsmocktrials.com/faqs. • Our recruiter will contact you if we have availability and if you qualify.
