IT Specialist – Automotive Dealership Group Full-Time – four-day work week Lanphere Enterprises, Inc. (Lanphere Auto Group and Beaverton Motorcycles), a high-performing automotive dealership group, is hiring an experienced IT Specialist to join our established Information Technology team. This full-time, onsite role is ideal for someone with at least two years of IT experience and who thrives on accuracy, accountability, and teamwork. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same — from helping an advisor get back online, to troubleshooting network and security issues, to managing new system rollouts, you’ll be one of the go-to experts keeping our technology running smoothly. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Provide daily IT support for dealership employees across multiple locations • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively • Maintain and update user accounts, passwords, and permissions (Active Directory, CDK, etc.) • Assist with setup and deployment of new workstations, printers, and mobile devices • Support dealership systems including CDK, Adaxes, Microsoft 365, and OEM platforms • Coordinate with vendors and internal management for larger projects or escalated issues • Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with company IT policies • Identify opportunities for improved efficiency and technology use within the dealerships • Participate in a rotating “on call” support team WHAT YOU MUST BRING • 2+ years of IT support experience (dealership or retail environment preferred) • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, networking, and user support • Familiarity with dealership management systems (CDK, Dealertrack, Lightspeed, etc.) a major plus • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Self-starter who enjoys helping others and thrives in a fast-paced environment • Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING HERE • Stable, reputable dealership group with a collaborative team culture • Competitive pay based on experience; salary • Paid time off and employee discounts • Opportunities for growth and cross-training within our expanding organization • Private office and full support from a strong, experienced IT team • Stable Monday–Thursday schedule (and participation in rotating “on call” team support) • Comprehensive benefits package available after introductory period • A professional, fast-paced environment where your accuracy and efficiency are appreciated This job posting is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities.
