LOCATION: Waimea, Hawai‘i Island, Hawai‘i – HYBRID POSITION (On-Site and Remote) STATUS: Temporary, Part-time or Full-time COMPENSATION: $24-27/hour, depending on experience REPORTS TO: Financial Controller JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE: The Kohala Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Waimea, Hawai‘i Island, Hawai‘i, is seeking a temporary (three to five months) accountant to support our finance and accounting department’s day-to-day functions. Duties include bookkeeping, accounts payables and receivables, reconciliations (bank account and credit card statements), and preparation of documents for financial audits. Additional duties may include assisting in the preparation of reports such as financial statements and budget performance, as well as assisting with payroll processing.
