$7,000. All low-ball offers will be ignored. Hello, I’m selling my 2003 Jaguar XK8 coupe. The reason I’m selling is that I have several other cars that are similar (09 Mercedes SLK350, 03 Mercedes SL500, 13 Volvo C70) and might consider trading for a 1988-2007 (only) Toyota Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Lexus GX470, Lexus LX470 or Land Rover LR4. Nineteen of twenty of this XK8 generation were convertibles - coupes are extremely rare. Ford has incorporated many of their components into this generation while they owned Jaguar - including the engine. This is the same engine block to the legendary V8 found in the Crown Vic (taxi and police cars). The transmission is the BULLETPROOF, six speed, German ZF. This generation XK8, from 2003 to 2006 are very surprisingly reliable and easy to maintain. There were over nine hundred improvements made between 02-03. And I would NOT recommend buying a 1996-2000 model. These years were produced with the infamous Nikasil cylinders - mass oil consumption and engine death X! My KX8 is not perfect. Though the engine and drive train are in exceptional condition. This is a true daily driver and VERY reliable! She idles very nicely at 600 rpm and does not burn or leak any oil and starts, drives and stops as you ask. Needs a radio antenna, a high beam switch repaired and has a noticeable wear mark on the typical driver’s seat spot. The paint is a “20 footer” (some spots faded and looks great at 20 feet away,) though to get her to truly be a drive-in, head turner, she could use some paint work. Has 110K original miles. I get compliments on this vehicle at least every other time I’m driving - a true head turner at stop lights. Please be specific if responding. All unreasonable and or generic offers will be ignored. Thanks for shopping.
