1993 Alfa Romeo Spider - $12,500 (Rockville)

This is a 1993 Alfa Romeo Spider S4 (series 4) puchased in February 2021 from Auto Veloce, Inc. in North Miami FL, where is was the daily driver of owner/mechanic Luciano Ceccarelli. Before my purchase, Luciano put on a new top, leather shift boot, replaced the trailing arm bushings and rebuilt the transmission. The car was shipped up to Maryland where it resided in an indoor parking garage and driven lightly each spring and summer. Long range goal was to bring the mechanicals up to par, then do a paint job and interior refresh. Mechanical work done since include, at Milano Motors, new springs and shocks, repair trunk/gas cap latch, replace top seal, change engine oil and filter, change differential oil, lub drive shaft, adjust emergency brake, install new rear brake pads, change 2 U joints, center drive shaft bearing, transmission support, repair speedometer and install new cable, and various and sundry minor issues. More recently, the clutch master and slave cylinders were replaced. The engine mounts and the A/C compressor bearing were replaced last summer by London Auto along with installation of an oil pan guard. Over $11,000 spent on the above work and the car has been driven less than 1,500 miles since 2021. All service records availalbe. Car has Panaport Racing wheels and a new Exide battery. Dashboard is free of cracks and the electric windows work fine. The car has a late model Sony radio with remote and is bluetooth/XM radio compatible. Antenna works. Wipers work. All lights work. A/C works but needs freon. Imminent move to a retirement community with no room for a third car thwarts plans to finish refresh; the car is in tip-top shape for the new owner to follow thru.
