Owner Operator CDL A ($35,000 monthly)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck and Equipment Mechanic to join our telecom construction team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, problem-solving professional responsible for the maintenance and repair of our heavy equipment fleet, ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance and light repairs on a fleet of trucks and heavy equipment. • Work with foreman to ensure vehicle scheduling and maintenance stays on track. • Order parts and draft purchase orders to acquire necessary materials. • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. • Perform small-scale welding and metal fabrication as needed. • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions to perform onsite repairs. Qualifications: • A minimum of five years of experience as a truck or heavy equipment mechanic. • Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. • Welding experience is preferred for minor repairs and fabrication. • Must own a complete set of hand tools. The company will provide specialized tools. • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time. • Willingness to work outdoors in various environmental conditions. • Must have acceptable driving record and be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), which the company will fund.
