As a restorative nursing assistant at CHCC, you will follow each resident’s care plan and implement personalized restorative programs that support their highest level of mobility and independence in daily activities. Responsibilities: • Provide a pleasant, positive and calm environment for residents. • Communicate and work smoothly with residents, families, supervisors and co-workers. • Encourage resident independence and rehabilitation when indicated. • Perform tasks, within nursing assistant scope of practice, according to CHCC procedures. • Keep resident rooms neat and tidy, including making beds. • Follow directions, observe residents’ responses and report changes to the unit coordinator. • Perform restorative care treatments. • Encourage residents to perform or participate in daily ADL functions. • Provide range of motion in accordance with the resident’s plan of care. • Instruct and supervise residents during therapy. • Assure that all restorative care notes are informative and descriptive of the treatment provided and of the resident’s response to care. • Help transport wheelchair users to activities and meals. • Correctly apply and monitor resident safety devices. • Prevent the spread of infection, including frequent hand-washing and gloving. • Assist in the support of company-sponsored events, activities and functions. • Abide by all standards, policies and procedures of the facility, including the facility’s compliance and ethics program, as a condition of employment. • Attend in-service training as requested and required. • Perform other duties as assigned. • See job description for additional duties: https://chcclynden.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Restorative-aide-full-time.pdf Qualifications: • Support CHCC’s mission. • Minimum of 18 years of age. • A Washington state nursing assistant (CNA/NAC) license in good standing is required. • One year of nursing assistant experience is preferred. • One year of restorative nursing assistant experience is preferred. Fire Alarm System testing and inspection per NFPA and local code standards. Preparing accurate and timely inspection and service reports. Qualifications Valid Driver's License with a good driving record Minimum of 3 years licensed driving experience is required. Advance knowledge of diagnostics and system repair preferred but not required. NICET certification required- IF YOU HAVE ACCRUED HOURS AND ARE CLOSE TO TAKING THE EXAM YOU MAY APPLY Minimum of 1 year hands on experience. Experience performing special hazard suppression system inspection and repair a plus but not required (FM200 and Halon). Functional knowledge to test and service the following fire alarm brands: Silent Knight / Honeywell, Simplex, Notifier and Fire-Lite. Ability to be available on-call when scheduled. Must be comfortable working on ladders 6 to 12ft and on lifts. Ability to lift up to 70lbs, to work overhead and in unusual or small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces. Skills to communicate well with customers and explain the work being done and any repairs that are necessary. Skills to write well and be very detailed in your write up on service work. Must be well organized and be able to keep track of service tickets and process all required documents for each service performed.
