Job Summary: Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) is currently seeking skilled Machine Operators to join our EMV department at our Bolingbrook manufacturing facility. We have two shifts open; 2nd shift operates Monday through Friday from 3pm-11pm, and 3rd shift operates Monday through Friday 11pm-7am with regular opportunities for overtime. Duties & Essential Job Functions: Operate EMV machines during production, ensuring products are manufactured within established parameters. Understand and execute the entire range of machine functions and operating sequences. Load materials onto machines in the required order and sequence. Read job specifications and previous run data to set machine parameters and material requirements. Perform maintenance following proper Lockout/Tag-out procedures. Meet or exceed job standards for line speeds, scrap rates, and setup times. Load and unload stock efficiently and safely. Maintain department inventory and supplies, ensuring everything is accounted for. Report any maintenance needs to the Maintenance Department promptly. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure product specifications are met. Complete all required documentation and data entry accurately and in a timely manner. Engage in ongoing training opportunities to support a continuous quality improvement environment. Verify material conformance to specifications using measuring devices such as micrometers, tape measures and calipers. Verify that guards at pinch points and potential burn areas are present before operating the machine. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the highest quality standards. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures, taking immediate action to correct safety and security issues. Ensure the operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions when necessary. Required Skills & Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience operating production machines in a manufacturing environment. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 and normal color perception. Strong verbal and written communication in English. Ability to focus and perform precision hand movements when operating machinery. Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds and work safely around machinery. The pay for this position starts at $18 per hour and is eligible for an annual bonus. Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join the G+D team in our secure Bolingbrook, IL facility. 2nd shift will work Monday through Friday 2pm-10pm. The Inserting Machine Operator IV will prepare, supply and operation production machines in the Personalization Department within the High Security Area. Duties & Essential Job Functions: Prepare, supply and operate the production machines during the production process and monitor relevant stages to ensure that products are manufactured or assembled according to established parameters. Understand the entire range of functions as well as the operating sequence of the machine. Load materials on the machine in the order they are to be placed on the table. Read job specifications and previous run data to determine machine parameters and material. Ensure proper Lockout/Tag-out procedures have been followed before performing maintenance on the machine. Job Summary: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all card personalization and fulfillment equipment. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all factory support equipment. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager. First shift runs from 5:30 am - 1:30 pm and third shift runs 11 pm -7 am Monday through Friday. Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair all card personalization and fulfillment equipment. Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in electronic equipment, perform tests, and follow technical manuals to ensure proper functioning. Fabricate replacement parts when necessary. Perform preventative maintenance on all card personalization / fulfillment equipment and support equipment. Work with machine operator to identify and resolve issues with setup and job files. Work with IT to identify and resolve machine communications related issues. Implement programs to increase OEE. Utilize KPI's to improve equipment uptime and decrease downtime. Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of repairs, tests and inspections, and document processes for future reference. Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of process controls. Job Specifications: Must physically be able to bend, stretch, and stoop, but not limited to only these physical activities. Requires lifting of 40 lbs. or more without aid. Requires normal hand, eye and walking coordination. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed. Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
