Local law firm looking to hire a full-time legal litigation secretary. Recent litigation experience preferred. Major responsibilities include calendaring attorney meetings and deadlines; e-filing (JEFS, USDC, 9TH Circuit); filing paper documents in different court systems; draft letters; corresponding with clients, carriers and experts; making travel reservations; maintaining and managing internal electronic and paper files; assisting in trial preparation; and working with other secretaries and attorneys as needed. Working knowledge with Outlook; Word; Excel; State and Federal Court rules and e-filing systems. This position requires an independent, friendly, dependable team-player who can multi-task, work well under pressure, and pay attention to detail.
