Conduct on-site inspections — measure, verify, and assess with zero tolerance for error. Collaborate with project managers and crews to sharpen pricing and lock in schedules. Support insurance estimates (Xactimate experience is a plus). Interpret scopes of work, drawings, and takeoffs with technical precision. Maintain strict estimate records in CRM (Acculynx). Communicate with clients on scope, pricing, and next steps — directly and confidently. Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety protocols. Represent ProBuilt Hawaii with professionalism and authority in the field. Requirements Available for inter-island travel. Minimum 3 years in residential roofing (estimating, inspection, or operations). Strong knowledge of roofing systems and materials. Experience with estimating tools (Xactimate & Acculynx). Able to read construction drawings and technical documents. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Physically fit to climb ladders and inspect roofs. Job description We are seeking a self-sufficient worker with residential and small commercial experience. In this customer-facing position, an ideal candidate would communicate well with clients, be task-oriented, provide mentorship for apprentices, and be able to self-manage and manage a team. Ability to maintain professional appearance of company vehicle(s) and personal attire Must have valid Driver's License, in good standing. High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an electrician, preferably with a focus on residential and small commercial projects. Strong knowledge of electrical principles, wiring methods, and electrical codes and regulations. Experience with hand and power tools commonly used in electrical work. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to vehicle service, ensuring that all work performed meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Duties Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles. Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Work with schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems. Execute alignment services and other vehicle adjustments as needed. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with Service Advisor as well as clients about their vehicle's needs. Assist in auto estimating for repairs and services required on vehicles. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop environment. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably with dealership experience. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles, including familiarity with vehicles is a plus. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Experience working with automotive electrical systems and performing welding tasks is desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications or training in automotive service are preferred but not mandatory.
