Apply today to join the team!  Why Baader Mechanics join the Golden Alaska team:    Excellent pay: Starting between $12,000 - $15,000 per month, based on experience, paid as a percentage of the catch in the form of monthly advances and a end of year settlement.  Great benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k, a referral program, and more!  Working at sea and on land! Working 3-5 months at sea, as well as some time working on port.  While on the ship out at sea, your room and board will be fully covered! This creates a great opportunity to save your income as you won’t be paying for housing, bills, gasoline, etc.  Schedule: While at sea, you will be working 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week.    Enjoy months off work at a time! This provides you with ample time to spend time with family, plan a vacation, or just relax!  Enjoy working on a wide variety of equipment and projects and never get bored!  All necessary tools, PPE, and equipment are provided.  Essential duties/responsibilities:  Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of Baader 182, 212, and 417 processing equipment.  Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues.  Install new equipment or upgrade existing systems.  Monitor equipment performance and implement adjustments to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.  Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards, including lockout-tagout procedures.  Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.  Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize production disruptions.  Work closely with production teams to address equipment-related issues and optimize production processes.  Tests the machines to verify step motors and tooling are set up and running properly.  Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.  Other duties are to ensure the facility and organization is fully supported and successful.  About the Company: Golden Alaska Seafoods, LLC is a world leader in the production of high quality white fish products and frozen seafood, internationally recognized for quality, consistency and value. Our site work tends to be mainly in the 5 boroughs, but we do a significant amount of work out of the city as well.
 We work on wood windows & doors, cornices, staircases, and other architectural woodwork. We work at public & private buildings. Our projects range from staircase and handrail installation to the installation & servicing of traditional wood windows. Being focused on restoration, our work tends to be eclectic and requires flexibility. Each staff member is engaged in a variety of tasks both on-site & in the shop. We occasionally work on brownstone scaffolds so a comfort with heights is helpful. We often work in sensitive environments such as museums, public spaces & religious buildings. Thoughtful behavior and proper inter-personal skills are essential.
