FOUND DOG: Small Chihuahua/Pitt mix, found near Sunnyvale Costco (sunnyvale)

This dog approached me and my dog last night around 7pm at 1050 Kifer Rd, Sunnyvale, CA. She has a collar, but no ID tags. I waited for around 10 minutes for the owner to show up, but nobody came. I leashed her, took her to my apartment, bathed her, fed her, walked her, and let her sleep at my place and play with my dog. Her paws are raw and peeling from walking, and some of her nails were broken and bloody, but judging from her relatively clean coat, friendly demeanor, and lack of immediate hunger, she must have been lost relatively recently. She is a great dog, and very loving. If you recognize her, please reach out. I cannot keep her for a long time, but will make sure she finds a safe place to stay. I will be taking her to the shelter this morning when they open to see if she is microchipped.
