General Position Description The maintenance technician will perform a variety of tasks on a 25-acre residential property. The technician will handle basic tasks in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. The team keeps the units, buildings, and equipment maintained and repaired; handles unit inspections; responds to after-hour maintenance calls; ensures that the department has the required materials and supplies in inventory; works cooperatively with contractors and vendors servicing the property; and assists with keeping the maintenance shop in good order. The technician will participate in heavy lifting, appliance removal and installation, digging, cleaning, and other manual labor tasks as required. Winter: Some shoveling and a lot of Atv snow plowing, also salting of sidewalks. A drivers license is helpful if we need a back up plow truck driver, will train. Not necessary. Rides to and from job sights if needed, if you are in the city of Wayne or in Canton tws. Persons can not be on the Michigan sex offenders list. We are on private school grounds and homes this fall. Paid on your experience. $15 to $17 for fall $17 to $22 winter depending on the job you are preforming that snow day. Winter there is a bi-weekly salary paid as well.
