Responsibilities Teach the fundamentals of 10 different sports, including soccer, hockey, volleyball, basketball, tennis, lacrosse, football, track and field, baseball, and golf Lead classes for Amazing Tots (18 months to 2.5 years) and the classic Amazing Athletes curriculum (2.5 to 6 years) Incorporate lessons about nutrition and muscle groups to enhance motor skills and physical literacy Provide a fun and engaging learning environment for children to learn and grow Plan and execute age-appropriate activities and obstacle courses Actively engage with parents and caregivers to ensure a positive experience for all children and families Ensure that class materials and equipment are properly maintained and organized Requirements Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a background check. Must be fun, energetic, patient, attentive and reliable. Passion for sports/fitness and working with children. Prior experience working with children is a plus! (Preschool teachers, camp counselors, elementary education substitute teachers, coaches, etc.) Background in fitness a plus! (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, etc.) Early Childhood Education Units are a plus! Be the face and the front line of Super Soccer Stars in each class - interact with parents, teachers, directors, club board members and children daily. Assist/teach energetic and motivating sessions, connect and challenge each child, and help them to accomplish motor development goals and inspire a love of soccer in a fun, team based environment. Effectively and clearly communicate issues to the office and provide solutions. Showing up on time to class, physically and mentally prepared (includes commuting time). Equipment set-up and break-down. Provide hands-on individual and group attention to children. Requirements Own reliable transportation and willing to travel up to 45-minutes one-way to get to class locations. Candidates are recommended to be fully vaccinated upon commencing employment, subject to legally required exemptions. Legal exemptions include but are not limited to, medical condition, disability or sincerely held religious belief; some regions may require full vaccination upon hiring due to state specific mandates. Proof of vaccination in those states will be required and will be requested in the other regions. Punctual, willing to learn and accept feedback. Experience in or have a strong desire to work in a travel club environment. Prior experience working with children preferred. Must be motivated, energetic, patient, and attentive. We’re looking for fun-loving, reliable, and committed individuals in Greater Loudoun to join our growing coaching team!  As a Soccer Stars coach, you’ll lead children ages 1 to 5 in engaging, age-appropriate soccer activities that build confidence, coordination, and character—all while having fun! This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with experience working with children—as a teacher, sports coach, camp counselor, nanny, or caregiver—and who’s excited about making a lasting impact.
