Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of financial concepts, including GAAP and corporate accounting practices. The Accounting Assistant will assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll management, and general ledger accounting. Duties: Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience. Excellent customer service skills when interacting with our customers and vendors. Strong administrative skills using MS Office products. Excel vlookups a plus. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking. QuickBooks Desktop experience. (Will be transitioning to Quickbooks online soon) Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements: Proven experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred. Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices. Understanding of financial concepts including credit analysis, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting. Strong Excel skills understanding and using formulas and vlookups. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience using 3rd party applications to assist in the uploading of large amounts of invoices and bills to Quickbooks. This is an in office position only. Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No remote work.
