IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a Collections Analyst/Specialist to support the AR team with reducing the AR aging balance. The ideal candidate for this position is exceedingly well-organized, sociable, and independent. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high efficiency and accuracy is crucial. This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Oversee and analyze AR aging report monthly and build reporting functions for IXL and its subsidiaries Proactively contact customers by phone and email for prompt resolution of overdue invoices Follow up with customers on a bi-weekly basis and ensure active communication to prevent disruptions in service Identify customer patterns and build processes to prevent future issues Review purchase orders, sales contracts, and quotes for any potential discrepancies Reconcile internal sales database and NetSuite on a monthly basis Manage and resolve customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner Perform other related duties as assigned WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 1-3 years of accounting experience a plus Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized Strong written and oral communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows OS Energetic, mature, positive person who thrives on working independently Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of employee and company information Experience with collections, NetSuite, and Salesforce a plus Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base hourly rate for this full-time position is $31.25 to $36.00 per hour + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. About the Role: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the integrity of the inventory and procurement systems.
