We are a food manufacturing company in Vernon, CA, looking for Machine Operators to join our team. In this role, you'll need to perform variety of repetitive machine operations like feeding the machine and watch for imperfect operations. Must have own basic measuring tools Should know G and M codes, able to edit/verify programs, inspect your own work Programming with Surfcam, Mastercam and Solidworks knowledge is A PLUS We machine metals and plastics, multiple operation parts, close tolerances, assemblies, frames Skill Level Knowledge Requirements : • Tend to one or more machine tools to machine metal and non-metal work pieces .• Complete routine machine maintenance. • Capable of interpreting and editing CNC programs using Haas controls. Knowledge of Surfcam, Mastercam and SolidWorks is an advantage • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. • Reads blue print and job traveler specifications to determine the proper tooling required to set up each operation. • Builds fixtures as required to hold work piece. • Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of work piece to specifications using standard measuring tools. • Modify programs as required to meet product conformity. • Replace cutting tools as required to meet product conformity. • Maintain statistical reporting. • Deburr work pieces as required. • Clean parts as required.
