Seeking a full time Maintenance Technician in the Cleveland area!! Looking for a motivated team player that has some experience in the maintenance field! Further details are list below: Prep lines for shift start up. Answer and fix line calls throughout the day. Tear down, clean and assemble filling equipment. Label machine set up. Coder set up and repairs. Capper set up and repair. Answer line lead repair calls. Must have general filling equipment understanding. Must have attention to detail. Must provide their own general tools (screwdrivers, wrench, plyers and allen wrenches) Some tool purchases are made by the company (i.e., drills, presses, etc.…) There is some building and mechanic maintenance that they need to perform. Must clean up after themselves. Must have perfect attendance. Must be able to work with owners down to hourly workers as well as other maintenance staff. Knowledge of PLC, electrical, plumbing and pipping are all major plusses. Must be able to self-diagnose problems that are presented them. ****Looking for liquid filling experience working with PLC and VFD knowledge. Perform fabrication, assembly, and packaging operations. Principal Responsibilities Fabricate fittings to customer specifications using customized fabricating equipment, hand, power tools, adhesives, and fixtures. Obtain components from stock/production. Set-up equipment to match product requirements. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate good communication skills. Inspect completed parts. Prepare parts for shipping by placing them in boxes or on pallets. Correctly label all parts and boxes as needed. Visually inspect all incoming pipes, components, and gaskets for defects. Apply 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Maintains a safe working environment by following Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and attending training that is provided where required. Maintains a respectful working environment by following Human Resource Policies and attending mandatory training when required. Assist in the coordination, preparation, and execution of year-end inventory. Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, however, full training will be provided Must be knowledgeable in basic math Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn Good team player including with a demonstrated ability to chip in to and foster a positive team environment Working knowledge of Health and Safety practices is helpful. After training, should exhibit an understanding of various types and sizes of pipes.
