Our wood shop is FSC certified. Candidate Requirements: • 3-5 years of finishing experience in a production environment. • Strong attention to detail. • Experience with color matching and adjusting tints/ shade coats. • Bleaching and cerusing. • Refined standards for quality, craft, aesthetics. • Perform prep surface pre-treatment, conditioning, and cleaning as required (sanding, chemically, mechanically) to prepare wood and/ or metal and surfaces for stain, clearcoat, paint, or patina application. • Monitor quality throughout finishing process steps and report issues to leadership as they arise. • Excellent time management, problem solving, planning, and judgment skills. • Excellent communication skills, including asking questions and finding teachable moments. • Must be team player with exceptional work ethic always looking to improve. • Experience with air assisted, HVLP and gravity fed spray equipment. • Cleanliness. • Ability to establish priorities, goals, deadlines and meet them. • Ability to be flexible, shifting priorities and projects as needed. • Interest in growing a career at Interbay.
