Subcontract - Roof Top Gas Piping SOW ID #S25-005 (Sacramento)

Project Summary: We have 4 roof tops of buildings 3/4, 700, 730, and 935 that require new gas piping supports. At present the pipes are supported by wood blocks that are in various states of disrepair and do not prevent the movement of the piping on the roofs. All of the roofs are flat top, 3 are of similar size and scope. All work shall conform to IFGC and NFPA standards (latest editions). Findings: The rooftop gas piping is supported by wood blocks that are not preventing movement of the gas pipe. Recommendations: Roofs 3/4, 700, and 730: Provide new gas pipe supports. Supports shall be standard rubber or iron supports preventing movement. Supports shall be every 10 linear feet O.C. for the 2” gas piping, 140 linear feet 1” gas piping, 100 linear feet. All work shall conform to IFGC and NFPA standards (latest editions). Building 935 dormitory: Provide new gas pipe supports. Supports shall be standard rubber or iron supports preventing movement. Supports shall be every 10 linear feet O.C. for the 2” gas piping, 140 linear feet 1” gas piping and 400 linear feet and 2” pipe, 200 linear feet.
