POSITION SUMMARY 24Seven Rent A Car is looking for reliable, detail-oriented Car Rental Associates with light mechanic skills to join our operations team. This role involves handling vehicle check-ins and check-outs, light maintenance, cleaning/detailing, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. We’re especially looking for someone who can perform oil changes and basic upkeep to keep our fleet running smoothly. If you’re someone who enjoys working with cars, solving problems on the fly, and maintaining high standards — this is for you. ⸻ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Inspect vehicles at check-in and check-out for cleanliness, damage, fuel, and mileage • Take clear, complete photos (interior, exterior, odometer, fuel, and damage) • Perform light mechanical checks: fluids, tire pressure, battery, etc. • Perform oil changes and other basic maintenance tasks • Clean and detail vehicles inside and out to meet luxury standards • Pick up and drop off vehicles as needed (clients, shops, vendors) • Interact with customers during pickup and return, ensuring great service • Keep the lot, key box, and supplies organized • Report any damage, issues, or concerns immediately ⸻ REQUIREMENTS • Must be 21+ years old • Valid CA driver’s license with a clean California DMV record (REQUIRED) • Experience with basic automotive maintenance including oil changes • Hands-on mechanical skills (professional or personal experience both valued) • Experience in car rental, customer service, or automotive a plus • Strong attention to detail, good communication, and follow-through • Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment • Able to stand/walk for extended periods and work outdoors ⸻ COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • Pay: $18.00-$23.00/hour • Job Type: Part-time / Contract • Flexible scheduling — weekend availability preferred Apply today by submitting your resume/work history and a brief letter outlining your relevant experience and why you are interested in this position.
