Responsibilities Lead the design and development of RFIC power amplifiers for various communication applications. Own the end-to-end PA design flow: architecture definition, schematic design, layout supervision, EM/circuit co-simulation, and tape-out. Conduct simulations and analysis to optimize amplifier performance metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF designs into larger systems. Define test plans and lead the prototyping and testing efforts of RFIC designs to ensure reliability and performance. Evaluate and select materials and components for RF circuit design. Stay on top of industry trends and advancements in semiconductor technology. Requirements PhD/Master in Electrical Engineering or a related field; with an educational emphasis on RF/microwave integrated circuits design. At least 5 years of experience in RFIC design and development, particularly in power amplifiers. Strong circuit design skills, and experience performing analysis and simulation of both linear and non-linear circuits for power amplifiers and other related RF circuit blocks like LNAs and switches. Knowledge of RF transceiver architectures, digital communication systems, spread spectrum, single and multi-carrier techniques and modulation types such as QPSK, APSK and QAM Must be a proficient user of Cadence (Virtuoso)/Agilent ADS / Mentor tools / HFSS. Experience using simulation tools such as Keysight PathWave Designs Suite (ADS, SystemVue, GoldenGate, Momentum), and Spectre. Must be willing to work on-site full-time at our office in Atlanta, GA. Preferred Qualifications RF/microwave design experience in the GSM band, Ku-band, K-band and Ka-band frequency range Must have familiarity with radio related test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector signal analyzers, vector signal generator, network analyzers, and hands-on experience in a lab with equipment for RF testing and measurement. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot design issues. Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical - 2nd Shift

The successful candidate Support all manufacturing engineering activities within assigned manufacturing cell(s) including implementing and facilitating lean manufacturing initiatives, implementing ECO’s, assigning inventory locations, conducting contract reviews, creating shop floor instructions, evaluating standards and completing capital and facility upgrades. Rate of pay will be $70,000 to $75,000. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide manufacturing engineering support and services within assigned manufacturing cell(s). Provide support as the acting Cell Leader in the Cell Leader absence.  Duties are as outlined in the Cell Leader job description. Work effectively as a cell team member to ensure operational metrics are achieved and any remedial action is actively pursued. Maintain current updates on manufacturing engineering related tasks on the manufacturing cell log. Represent manufacturing engineering within assigned cells at the daily cell meetings and weekly plant metrics meetings. Review relevant engineering change orders (ECOs) within assigned cells or assigned option groups and support all aspects of production implementation. Responsibilities Perform detailed review of all existing protection schemes present in the subject area to incorporate into new design. Special areas of focus are anti-islanding schemes, generator intertie settings, SPS schemes, etc. (anything outside of normal).
