Fellow creators and songsmiths! What I've got is a very well-stocked and very underutilized recording studio. I'm one of those people who is just constantly creating and writing on a jumble of instruments- guitar, bass, ukuleles of various types, mandolin, drums, keys, etc... Due to some rather good planning on my part, I've got a lot of time to do this. What I don't currently have are enough folks onboard for creating music, audio books, podcasts, sound healing or anything else audio related. Are there any writers, multi-instrumentalists, young artists, and/or music enthusiasts interested in learning more about recording, creators without a recording home, or folks wanting to do some interesting, weird, or challenging music? What I'm seeking for my own creations is someone to run the board, give me honest feedback, and help me keep producing. If you haven't done a lot of recording yourself, then let me just say that it can be overly tedious and prevent a nice, clean flow. Having someone who is paying attention, giving good, honest feedback, and who can give interesting ideas is super valuable. I'm also interested in a helping others produce more of their own or potentially some collaborative music. I've got a band that rehearses here, and we're still looking for a bassist/multi-instrumentalist, though really anyone with at least a little bit of experience that is also responsible and kind would be cool for the studio. All types are welcome- I don't care about politics, religion, nor gender or ethnic restraints. I care about kindness and honesty, that is it. Nope, I'm not into getting drugged up and making a bunch of nonsense. I'm 48, and I've been young already. Yes, I would like to do 3-6 hour sessions where we create, mix, produce, and potentially put out some very interesting material. If you are good at a couple of things, then I can help with lyrics, different ways to record, production assistance, and I'm also a mentor and postural therapist, so I can also often help you perform better if physical things are in your way. In other words, I'm feeling like there's a lot to offer the right folks, and I'd like to grow my musical community. Who's interested?
