Dental Front Desk Coordinator Hana Dental Kauai is a new private dental practice in Lihue looking for a Dental Front Desk Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our office. About the Role This is a full-time position with a four-day work week (Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri). As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll set the tone for their visit with a positive and professional attitude. You'll be managing daily administrative operations to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Scheduling, confirming, and managing patient appointments. Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in and check-out. Verifying and processing dental insurance claims. Answering and triaging phone calls. Handling patient billing and payments. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality. Coordinating with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient flow. Qualifications Previous experience preferred as a dental front desk coordinator or in a similar administrative role within a dental or medical office Proficiency with Open Dental is plus or we can train you Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans and claims processing. Help him fulfill fitness/exercise goals, learn basic life skills, and get out to have interesting experiences in the community on a daily basis after school. Understand and work to achieve developmental goals set by the parents while acting as a safe and positive presence for the individual as he navigates the community. Provide feedback to parents and actively engage in identifying challenges and new areas for growth and development. Get to know the student as a person and understand what motivates him and find positive ways to engage with him to support his and parents’ goals. Provide a consistent level of discipline and set strong boundaries to maintain the level of authority needed to drive results. Encourage and foster autonomy and independence in the individual as he prepares to transition into adult life.
