Event Staff – Bartenders & Catering Associates The Palace Theater | San Francisco Part-time (10–20 hrs/week) The Palace Theater produces unforgettable live events in San Francisco — from magic, comedy, and theater shows to weddings, private parties, and corporate celebrations. We’re looking for Bartenders and Catering Associates to join our hospitality team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences. Bartenders craft cocktails, engage with guests, and keep the bar running smoothly. Catering Associates support food service, presentation, and event setup/cleanup while ensuring food safety and quality. What you’ll do: Provide warm, 5-star service to every guest Set up and break down bar or catering stations before and after events Prepare and serve drinks and/or food, keeping standards high and stations clean Restock, organize, and maintain supplies Collaborate with FOH, Catering, and Bar teams to keep events running seamlessly What we’re looking for: Bartenders: 2+ years bar experience, cocktail knowledge, and guest-focused personality, RBS Certificate required (21+ required), rate 19.18/h + tips Catering Associates: 1+ year hospitality/food service experience, Food Handlers Certification required, rate $27/h Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in live event settings Ability to stand for long periods and lift 25–50 lbs Team players with positive, can-do attitudes Why join us: Hourly pay + tips (bartenders) Hourly pay (catering associates) Flexible schedules & paid training Employee discounts Work is in person at The Palace Theater, San Francisco.
