1971 XJ6 Series 1 4.2L in a dark cream with tan leather interior with rare wheels and one-of-a-kind CA License plate (O NIGEL) **CAR IS IN SANTA BARBARA CURRENTLY BUT CAN BE DROPPED OFF IN LA** Incredibly fun and cool car, but needs love and work that I unfortunately cannot give it. Known issues: - Gas gauge stop report about 2 months ago - Hood emblem needs to be replaced as well as some body work and sone interior panels (driver door storage panel) - Headliner sags - Driver side door opens and only from outside currently - Passenger side door does not open - New upholstery needed for center console arm rest and drivers headrest - wood strips on windows need to be sanded and revarnished - Clock doesn't work - odometer isn't (stopped at 52590, most likely closer to 57,000) - Radio antenna has been removed - Liner under steering wheel needs to be replaced - some body rust - still leaks a little oil - Needs paint - Ideally needs a full restoration or someone willing to put in the time and love and work History: Ive kept all service records during my ownership. 1971 - original owner in Reno, NV (have the original dealer paperwork and license number) ? second owner in Modesto, CA 10/26/2008 - 9/15/25 - Robert R.
