4.0 straight six engine. 5 speed manual transmission. 164,000 miles. BF Goodrich Baja Champion mud terrain tires - 33’s - plenty of tread left. We have had this Jeep since 2019. We bought it from a mechanic down in Jacksonville, FL. Since buying it, we have had minimal issues, but we have made repairs when they came up (see below). The Jeep has been very reliable for us. We just need to sell it to handle some house repairs. See below for the most recent repairs: 2020 •Replaced clutch and slave cylinder. •Replaced fuel sending unit. 2022 •Replaced front pads and rotors. Rear drums and shoes in good condition - adjusted parking brake cable. Checked brakes this year and there is more than half life left. •Flushed brake system. •Replaced valve cover gasket. 2023 •Replaced spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and points (and changed oil of course). •Air filter/fuel filter replaced. •Coolant flush/heater core flush. •Replaced both motor mounts and transmission mount. 2024 •Rebuilt transfer case and rear differential (pinion gear somehow loosened up enough to damage the ring gear. Pinion seized and caused driveshaft to lock up for a second, causing damage to one of the gears and bearings inside of the transfer case). New parts and gears are in and the Jeep drives like a dream. •Changed all universal joints on front and rear driveshaft. •Changed front differential fluid, rear differential fluid, transfer case fluid, and transmission fluid. •Replaced the steering gear that was starting to get some slop in it. Heads up, the new gear started having some hard spots in the steering. I ordered a new gear and have just not had the time to install it yet. If it's not in by the time you message, the new part will come with the Jeep. Oil and filter were changed every 5,000 miles. It runs and drives smoothly. It’s got an aftermarket Pioneer head unit, connected to an overhead speaker system and two boat speakers. There is also a Rockville subwoofer tied down in the back. It has a built-in amplifier. On the passenger side, in the bag, is a bikini top for the Jeep. I usually like to put that on late May when it starts to get really nice out. We can typically swap out the tops in about 15 minutes. Really easy. If you have any questions or want to come see it, message me here!
