Overview: The Sales Professional role involves direct customer interaction to sell RVs. Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, demonstrating RV features, processing paperwork, managing customer relationships via CRM, and general sales duties. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement & Sales Greet customers and identify their RV needs to guide them to appropriate options. Demonstrate RV features and functionality, both exterior and interior. Answer product questions confidently, overcoming objections and closing sales. Sales Documentation & Processing Prepare accurate sales documents, quotes, and credit applications. Coordinate with finance and service departments to ensure smooth delivery and pickup processes. CRM & Lead Management Maintain customer records in CRM software. Follow up on internet leads, inbound calls, and previous interactions to maximize sales opportunities. Collaborate with the Business Development department to drive traffic and conversions. Product Knowledge & Learning Stay up to date on current inventory, promotions, and RV trends. Positive, professional demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of walking and standing on the sales floor and lot. Overview: The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the sales team, ensuring team goals are met, maintaining inventory processes, and facilitating excellent customer service. This position plays a critical role in coaching staff, managing leads, and collaborating closely with other departments to optimize dealership performance. Key Responsibilities Sales Operations & Team Leadership Maintain and manage sales staff schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels. Participate in trade shows and dealership promotional events. Compliance & Standards Ensure adherence to inventory aging policies and red flag compliance. Maintain knowledge of inventory across all company locations. Work a 5.5-day schedule to align with dealership operations. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 1–2 years of related experience and/or management experience required. Knowledge of RV sales operations is highly desirable. Familiarity with CRM platforms, Motility, DealerTrack, 700 Credit, Systems 2000, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google applications. Strong mathematical skills including percentages, commissions, and discounts. Excellent verbal communication, leadership, and customer service abilities. Strong conflict resolution, adaptability, and organizational judgment. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises 4 to 20 employees in the Sales Department. Carries out supervisory duties in alignment with company policies and applicable laws. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
