ShareA small law firm is looking for a full-time Bilingual, Spanish speaking legal assistant. This is a full-time in-office position. Candidate must be computer proficient and familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe. This is a fast-paced office and the ability to multi-task and organize is essential. We are searching for a detail oriented and self-starter to ensure smooth running of day-to-day tasks and effective case management. Responsibilities will include working closely with the attorney and clients. Salary commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Providing administrative support to attorney • Answering calls and interacting with clients and attorneys in person, by phone or email • Monitor deadlines • Managing calendar of court appearances and due dates • Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondences • E-filing/e-serving court documents • Schedule appointments • Manage, categorize and organize client files • Assist with all aspects of real estate transactions Skills: • Superior time management and organizational skills to handle the case volume and deadlines • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs • Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish (Mandatory) • Excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in-person • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties Benefits: • Paid Holidays and Vacation • Contribution towards 401(k) plan Schedule: • Full-Time, In-person, Monday to Friday Experience/Education: • Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe • High School Diploma or GED equivalent • Previous office experience required • Legal Certificate/Paralegal (Preferred) • Real Estate and Family Law experience a plus, but willing to train the right candidate
