Head Heavy Equipment & Fleet Mechanic – Full-Time 📍 Conway, Arkansas We are looking for an experienced and dependable Head Mechanic to run our full-time shop in Conway, Arkansas. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can take charge of maintaining both heavy construction equipment and our fleet of work trucks. If you’re skilled in diagnostics, repair, and keeping machines and vehicles job-ready—and you’re organized, motivated, and trustworthy—this is the opportunity for you. Position Highlights: • Full-time position with guaranteed 40+ hours/week • Lead role – responsible for the full maintenance program for equipment and fleet • Work on a variety of machines: bulldozers, excavators, diesel/gas engines, and work trucks • Run a dedicated shop with all tools and equipment provided by the company Responsibilities: • Maintain and repair heavy construction equipment (bulldozers, excavators, etc.) • Service and repair work trucks and company vehicles • Handle both scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs • Maintain detailed and organized service records for all equipment and vehicles • Manage shop operations and ensure all equipment and trucks are safe, clean, and job-ready • Oversee parts inventory, track spending, and stay within maintenance budgets • Build and manage a reliable network of parts and material suppliers Requirements: • Experience with heavy equipment and/or vehicle repair • Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems • Able to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently • Excellent recordkeeping and organization skills • Reliable, self-motivated, and trustworthy • Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus) We Provide: • Guaranteed 40+ hours/week • Competitive pay based on experience and knowledge • Full shop access with all tools and equipment provided • Stable, long-term position with opportunity to grow • A supportive, professional work environment 📧 To Apply: Send your resume or a summary of your experience to paladino.nash@conwaycorp.net.
