STARTING A FUNK/JAZZ/BLUES JAM BAND + GIGGING (Boulder / Denver)

Hey! I'm Alex -- I'm a British guy (30yo) who plays keys -- I'm looking for musicians (guitar, bass, horns) in the Boulder/Denver area to start an instrumental funk/jazz/blues band! Jamming at first, meeting about once a week -- eventually looking to play some gigs. Both covers and originals. I'm moving to Boulder from Boston in August. After I find an apartment would be happy to host jams, unless for instance the drummer has a good space (to save them moving a drum set around). Looking for reliable people with a good ear, able to improvise, do call & response, and take solos. Funkier the better!
