Active Alt-Rock/ Emo Band Seeking Drummer (Dallas)

Hi there! Our drummer is moving out of state & while we're super bummed to see him go, we're a very active band so we're looking to find the right fit for our team! A little about us: - We play original alternative rock/ emo (music & links here: https://www.liinks.co/page9theband) - We are in our 30's-40's, open to anyone who is 21+ as we most often play bars/ breweries - We have our own touring vehicle, rehearsal space, IEM setup, PA system & run our own booking/ digital marketing agency - We have zero delusions of grandeur but do run a profitable business that we are constantly investing in to continually grow - We just played our 3rd sellout show (250 cap) of the year that we headlined, promoted and booked ourselves - We have the added benefit of having our current drummer involved until the end of the year. Since we're a big operation, we know it would be a lot to ask to have someone jump in tomorrow so fortunately we have dates covered until (at least) November so we can train up the right replacement in a stress-free environment. Here's a little info about the traits we're looking for in a potential drummer: - As mentioned, please be 21+ - Please have Pro Gear and Reliable Transportation - Please be able to play to a click in a live setting as well as studio - Ideal candidate is currently employed but has weekends available (we do not tour for months at a time but rather a weekend per month, on average) - Ideal candidate is either proficient in double bass kick playing or heel/toe playing. We're not a metalcore band, but there are some cutesy breakdowns and riff heavy sections in some of the songs - Please be willing to financially contribute to expenses such as rehearsal space, marketing expenses, etc. - Please be willing to participate in content creation as that is a huge part of the industry now, love it or hate it - Note that several of us are married and/or have kids so this will not demand all of your time and we tend to book things months in advance, so we're merely seeking someone who can make commitments and honor them accordingly - Ideal candidate is proficient in some songwriting/ music theory as we love to have input from all members when writing new music We're a busy group but we've been able to push the limits of what people think original, independent rock music has been able to accomplish in this day and age. We want to continue to grow and have a proven business plan to move forward so we're hoping to find the right addition to our team.
