Art Printer in Culver City is currently seeking a full-time (33-40 hours a week) Imaging Specialist. The right candidate is technologically savvy, creative, committed to delivering good quality work, and has a background in the arts.  The hours are M-TH 10am-6pm and F 9am-2pm. Compensation for entry-level is $20/hr to start with full-time benefits and commission opportunities available after time and commitment. Compensation is negotiable for candidates with experience in fine art printing. You will be responsible for a variety of duties in the studio including:  • Order Intake and Receiving • Customer Service • Image editing in Adobe Photoshop • Handling Original Artwork • Scanning  • Color correcting  • Printing  • Studio and equipment maintenance • Invoicing • Assisting with Finishing or Packaging as Needed Be aware this is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential. Constantly moving around the studio and working at different stations is a daily occurrence. THIS IS NOT A DESK JOB. . . we do some heavy lifting throughout the day, and juggle multiple jobs at a time. We need someone who is reliable with a great work ethic, a can-do attitude, and who is self-motivated. We are looking for someone with long term potential who would be interested in growing with the company! Requirements are: • Positive attitude and easy to work with • Personable with customers • Proficient with Macintosh computer systems • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop • Efficient hard worker • Ability to multitask with ease and proficiency • Greater understanding in color correction • Basic understanding in graphic design • Comfortable lifting 40+lbs daily (Large rolls of paper and canvas) • Have a gentle touch when handling prints and original artwork Everything else we are happy to teach and train accordingly.
