Job Title: Bilingual Pharmacy & DME Administrative Assistant Location: Houston, TX 77079 (Exact location to be discussed during interview) Reports To: CEO (Pharmacy Owner) Position Type: Part-Time (Training) → Full-Time (Maternity Coverage) Department: Pharmacy Operations Position Summary: We are a fast-growing, tech-forward startup pharmacy seeking a dependable, bilingual Pharmacy & DME Administrative Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role includes front desk duties, order processing, and direct support to the CEO—including occasional personal tasks. The position begins part-time at 16–20 hours per week during training, with a transition to full-time during maternity leave coverage. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable working in person at our Houston location. Key Responsibilities: Front Desk & Patient Support - Greet and assist patients and visitors - Answer phones, manage inquiries, and schedule appointments - Process prescription and DME orders accurately - Collect payments and issue receipts - Maintain a clean, organized front desk environment Data Entry & Order Processing - Enter prescription and DME information into pharmacy software (e.g., PioneerRx) - Verify insurance and required documentation - Follow up on incomplete records or outstanding orders - Ensure compliance and data accuracy in patient files Executive Assistant to CEO - Assist the CEO with day-to-day pharmacy operations and personal administrative tasks - Manage delegated assignments, reminders, and communications - Handle sensitive tasks with discretion and professionalism - Be prepared to perform TAS (Tasks As Signed) beyond the listed duties Preferred Skills & Experience: - Bilingual in English and Spanish — required - Previous experience in pharmacy, medical, or DME setting — preferred - Familiarity with PioneerRx, GoHighLevel, or similar platforms — a plus - Tech-savvy, adaptable, and eager to learn new systems - Strong communication and multitasking skills - Detail-oriented and dependable in a startup environment Schedule & Compensation: - Part-Time: 16–20 hours/week during training - Full-Time: Up to 40 hours/week during maternity leave - Must have reliable transportation and ability to report on-site - Location: Houston, TX 77079 (exact address shared upon hiring) - Reports to: CEO - Pay: Based on experience
