$700 Co-Op Forming – Oaksong Collective Seeks Housemates (New Haven)

Four to five additional housemates are needed for Oaksong Collective! Our group consists of community-builders, artists, activists, professionals, and graduate students. We have just acquired a lease on a big house in the Prospect Hill neighborhood, and we are establishing a new cooperative on August 15 (with some flexibility; it might start on August 1st or a little earlier). The house has ten bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, as well as a separate one-bedroom plus one-office back apartment with a kitchen, laundry, and woodstove. It also has numerous living and social areas, has been renovated with modern equipment, and has a large backyard, patio, and balconies. • Average rent is about $700 plus utilities ($50–80). The house has a washer and dryer, storage, and off-street parking. There is also a cat and a little dog inside. The Yale Blue Shuttle line stops directly in front of the property. We cherish house meetings, communal meals, chore rotation, and establishing a purposeful, welcoming, and comfortable environment.
