Resourceful and self-motivated individuals sought to handle day-to-day operations at a state-of-the-art data center near Durham, NC. Responsibilities could include, for example, managing the build-out, bring-up, and ongoing maintenance of some of the world’s most advanced supercomputers and industry-leading GPU clusters, as well as creating, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the processes and infrastructure code to provision and operate these machines. Relevant candidates may have a technical background in data center operations, Linux systems administration, high-performance computing, and/or computer programming. Some background in technology support, computer manufacturing, hardware inventory management, or project planning is desirable but not required. More important than any particular experience, however, is organizational ability; attention to detail; and ability and desire to learn quickly, troubleshoot technical problems, and rapidly become proficient in the tools required to support a high-performance computing facility.
