Position Overview: GuitarFinds is looking for a Guitar Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, be excellent at playing guitar, and possess experience in warehouse organization and product shipping/packaging. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify / Reverb.com / eBay.com is a plus. Having social media strategies/ ideas are also a plus The successful candidate will be adept at creating standardized processes and ensuring efficient operations within the store. Key Responsibilities: - **Photography:** Capture high-quality images of products for online listings and marketing materials. - **Guitar Expertise:** Demonstrate and play guitars for customers and product demos, providing expert advice and recommendations. - **Shopify Management:** Assist with managing the online store, including product listings and order processing. - **Organization:** Maintain a well-organized warehouse, ensuring all products are stored neatly and are easily accessible as well as make suggestions to management regarding possible improvements. - **Shipping & Packaging:** Efficiently package and ship products to customers, ensuring safe and timely delivery. - **Standardization:** Develop and implement standardized processes for various store operations, creating detailed sheets for each task. - **General Upkeep:** Assist with the daily upkeep and organization of the store, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers. - **Assist with special social media projects:** Assist with short term and long term projects as directed by the manager. Requirements: - Strong background in photography. - Excellent guitar playing skills. - Exceptional organizational abilities (MUST). - Experience in warehouse organization and product shipping/packaging. - Ability to create standardized task sheets and processes. - Knowledge of Shopify / eBay / Reverb.com (preferred). - Reliable transportation. We're a small, family wine shop and in addition to guiding customers to good bottles of wine, we spend much of the day engrossed in normal retail endeavors: stock work--"house-keeping", re-stocking bins and floor-stacks, filling the beer cooler-- gift-wrapping packages, sweeping the floor, washing wine glasses in the tasting room, running the cash register/P-O-S system, etc. We also taste lots of wines during the course of the week in hopes of discovering some new gems which are worthy of our recommendation. You will have a chance to taste a bunch of interesting wine! Prospective candidates should have a passion for and working knowledge of wine. KEY DUTIES(May include, but are not limited to): -General sales and customer service on the floor. -Educate customers about our products. -Help customers over the phone or in person and direct them to the proper channels if needed. -Restock shelves. -Maintain a clean environment in the shop. -Pick and pack pickup orders. -Create custom gift boxes. -Open and close the shop as needed.  -Count out the cash drawers at the beginning and end of the day and get change from the change drawer with accuracy. -Help store manager maintain control over cash by helping to investigate and correct discrepancies and by maintaining a balanced change box and cash drawers. -Communicate with the store manager after each shift about any customer issues, open orders or product issues. -Ability to work solo in the shop. -This entails being able to answer most customer questions and when in doubt, being able to take accurate notes for a manager to follow up at a later date.  -Process returns as needed.  -Retain a copy of the shop keys.
