Innovative, nurturing Reform Jewish preschool in Brooklyn Heights seeks an enthusiastic, creative, and warm assistant teacher for the 25-26 school year. Candidate must have at least 2 years of full-year preschool classroom experience, with an Associates or higher degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Familiarity with Jewish Holidays a helpful, and willingness to learn and teach about the Jewish Holidays is required. Familiarity and experience with Reggio Emilia, and Project Approach preferred. We follow all DOHMH guidelines and often exceed them for safety. Teachers work late August through early June (they work about 10 months and are paid for the year over 12 months; summer work is optional and pays extra). Working schedule 8:15am-2:30pm. We are looking for a part time teacher assistant to join our play based preschool program. We have a small group-up to 12 children a day-of 2-5 year olds. Duties include assisting the teacher in supervision, daily cleaning, meal times, potty/diapering, art projects, etc. Fingerprint clearance and CPR needed or must be willing to get. Experience with young children a must and E.C.E. units a plus but not necessary. Hours are Monday thru Friday 12:00-5:30. Starting at $16.50-18/hr depending on exp. Start as soon as possible!

Saint Vincent de Paul School is seeking instructional classroom aides/Teaching Partners for the 2024-2025 school year. Instructional aides are needed to work with lower grade students. Strong English and math skills are desired. This position requires the ability to collaborate with classroom teachers, to lead small group activities and to correct student work. Aides are also asked to assist with photocopying, setting up for lessons etc. In addition, aides supervise students at recess and lunch.
