Community Home – The Jolly House For People Who Love Dogs (note all dogs must have shots and be spayed/neutered) In town, but on acreage. Walk to shopping, swimming, restaurants and more! ALL UNITS INCLUDE WATER, SEWER, GARBAGE, PGE, PROPANE AND CABLE TV/INTERNET and monthly yard mowing if applicable. Step 1: Application reviewed for free, proof of income is required; Step two background and credit check is $38 and if approved, then the rental agreement will be sent for your approval. Security Deposit is equal to one month's rent. The Jolly House is a unique shared community home on over 2 acres. Its a three-story-three-plex = 7 bedrooms, 4 full baths, 3 kitchens, 3 living room house that has been customized for people with dogs. The main floor is the second story and has a handicap accessible ramp entry. Six of the rooms have fenced private yards with covered porches. We hope to cater mostly to seniors with dogs, but we will consider renting to qualified non-seniors with dogs as well. We will be picking people that qualify and that we believe will be a good fit for this community home. This is a shared house NOT a just room for rent, this is a specially designed furnished home for people who love dogs. (We may be able to remove the bedroom furniture is need be.) Most all of the rooms have their own yard for their dog, and the dogs are allowed to run in the back acre field. We do limit it to one dog per room. Tenants must get pet insurance and rental insurance which is very inexpensive, and can be purchased through your car insurance or other major insurance companies. This is a NON-smoking home as well, although people can smoke outside in areas that do not affect others, no smoking ever inside. This Community Home’s rent includes all utilities, cable TV, and internet. Community washer and dryer on covered porch for Community Home Residents use only. New floors, paint, and other amenities were recently completed or added, it is mostly new inside. BTW - Between the two mortgages, water, sewer, garbage, and taxes the cost is over $5k a month, then when you add insurance, PGE, Propane, Cable TV and Internet, community yard maintenance, pest control and community items (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher and dish soap, one can easily see that there is little profit to be made. Our goal is to help people find a good home where they can have their dog. It has central heating, and swamp coolers and small room coolers are used in the summer. It also has insta-hot. There are several fruit trees and old grape vines from Italy. There is a stage out back and large cemented gathering area, plus and large fire pit that can be utilized, there will be some BBQs and musical events occasionally on the stage. The main floor kitchen can be reserved for family and community events. RENTS: All Utilities, Cable TV, and Internet included in rent. Residents must follow house rules, which includes picking up the dog poop promptly in their private yard. NO SMOKING INSIDE EVER, and smoking outside only where is doesn’t affect neighbors. (We call this the Foreman’s Room, since it was the Jolly Tar Mine Foreman’s room.) Wild West Room Unit 3: $1365 – larger room with full size bed fully furnished room with cable TV, but with no door to the outside and this is the only room without a private yard. There is designated covered porch space for this room. There are huge yards and the back acre for the dog and dog owner to enjoy. Shared bath with shower, shared kitchen but with private food storage cabinets and segregated refrigerators; shared living room with cable TV, internet, recliner, dressers, night stand, lamps. However it does have a private porch and fenced private yard for the dog. This yard has black berries and a plum tree. It also has a shared large covered porch. Shared with one other person kitchen, living room and bathroom with shower Jacuzzi tub combo. The Green Room – Unit 6 $1485 has full size bed, fully furnished, cable TV, recliner, dressers, bedroom door to the fenced outside yard and porch area. This yard has a fig tree and plum tree.
