We seek a friendly, creative housemate of any age/gender/background, to rent a room and share our sprawling 1.25 acre south-facing beach property on Quartermaster Harbor. WHO? We are peaceful, considerate folks: a playwright/director is the owner. Current housemates are 20s - 30s - 40s. You would be the fifth member of the household. (we use the extra bedrooms for guests and an office) HOW BIG? Eight bedrooms total (only 5 are ever occupied) and 4 baths spread over three floors. A “live-work” is do-able – there are extra rooms for your home business, art or craft. The house and grounds offer plenty of nooks and crannies to find solitude, as well as comfortable common rooms to join the group for a nice meal, a bottle of wine, game night, or just to hear & cheer each other's exploits and endeavors. We all have our own lives but it’s important to check in sometimes with the people we rush past in the hall! We lean away from potential renters who will just hide in their room all the time and be shy. Plus $125 for utilities, trash, hi-speed wi-fi, regular pro housecleaner (we never have to argue whose turn it is to clean the bathroom!) So your total monthly is $1000. You can smoke outdoors only. Available for October or later - we tend to take our time to find the right fit. Bedroom furniture available if you need it; the rest of the house is well furnished. Some space for storage.
