We are seeking a dedicated and skilled flatbed driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting precast concrete items, both on pallets and dunnage, safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Boom operator course paid for by H2 Pre-Cast when employee is ready. Pay range is negotiable depending on experience. Responsibilities * Safely operate a flatbed truck to deliver goods to various locations, including construction sites, laydown yards and distribution centers. * Load and unload materials using forklifts, boom cranes, and manual handling techniques. * Choose efficient routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. * Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. * Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. * Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules and ensure efficient operations. Qualifications: * Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. * Experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. * Previous warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with loading/unloading procedures. * Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods. * Proficiency in operating forklifts is preferred. * Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in completing delivery documentation.
