CDL Class A Drivers Needed (SOUTH WINDSOR)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This can include, and is not limited to, triaxle deliveries & dump deliveries, equipment deliveries and roll off deliveries, This position requires strong driving skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles. Experience with heavy equipment is required. Must be familiar with the transportation of heavy equipment ie. Excavators, Skid Steers, Loaders and Lifts. Pick up and delivery of these vehicles is required. Proof of clean driving record, current medical card, valid drivers license and a current drug test. Duties: - Safely operate, roll-off trucks, tri-axle, etc and other heavy equipment - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations - Follow designated routes and schedules to deliver goods in a timely manner - Adhere to traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record - Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise - Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed Qualifications: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements - Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role - Ability to operate heavy equipment - Familiarity with route planning and navigation systems - Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience If you have the necessary qualifications and experience, we would love to hear from you.
