Daily Job responsibilities • Inspect and verify incoming/IPQA / FQA materials, components, and parts according to established procedures and specifications. • Documenting and reporting quality on parts produced. • Must be familiar with basic QA equipment’s like, calipers, rulers’ micrometers, microscopes etc. • Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests to identify defects, damage, or deviations from specifications. • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of incoming material inspections. • Communicate with managers or supervisors to address quality issues, discrepancies, or non-conformities found during inspections. • Manage daily cleaning and upkeep of the quality equipment and work environment. • Communicating well with other team members to help solve problems. • Follow managers directions for perform any additional jobs to help QA or other departments. Experience and/or educational requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with cable assembly background in QA department. • Must be able to read and write in English. • Basic math skills addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Detail oriented and strong work ethic. • Basic experience using Microsoft office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and carry it for short distances. • Must be able to sit or stand for 2 hours at a time. About the Position Building and troubleshoot 480V, 3-phase motor control equipment, PLC panels, operator consoles, and other control system components Install and wire on machine control devices such as photo eyes, proximity sensors, encoders, linear transducers, and other sensors Install conduit, pull and terminate wires, using appropriate tools and methods Install, disconnect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical motors Commission, program, and troubleshoot VFD’s Effectively read schematics/voltage, meters/amp, and meters/meg motors Troubleshoot and maintain Ethernet and other communication networks Recognize and troubleshoot mechanical defects Perform preventative maintenance and diagnosis on equipment Qualifications 2 years of industrial experience with verifiable proficiency in the primary duties listed above or will considered relevant degree/certification Experience reading electrical prints and schematics PLC programming experience preferred Experience with AutoCAD preferred Knowledge of photocells, limit switches, encoders, proximity sensors, analog and digital devices, frequency drives and three-phase motors desired Demonstrated ability to manage time and priorities under demanding circumstances Excellent communication, listening, and reasoning skills Why Join Our Team? Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Job description: Job Title: Plant Mechanic/Supervisor Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic/Supervisor to oversee daily plant operations and maintenance activities. This role is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising a small team while also performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: · Supervise plant staff, assign daily tasks, and monitor performance to ensure production goals are met. · Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems. · Ensure all plant equipment is operating safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime. · Coordinate with management to schedule maintenance, repairs, and special projects. · Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and inventory of parts and supplies. · Train and mentor team members on safety, equipment use, and best practices. · Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and company standards. · Communicate effectively with production teams and leadership to resolve equipment or staffing issues. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade school preferred. · Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a plant mechanic, maintenance technician, or related role. · Previous supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred. · Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills; ability to read schematics and manuals. · Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. · Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. · Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial plant conditions.
