As a Soldering Assembler you will: - Builds cable and wire harnesses, box assemblies, kits, and other products from start to finish while working under indirect supervision - Follows work orders, instructions, and sample assemblies to complete tasks - Performs tasks such as labeling, cutting wires, crimping, soldering, assembling parts, packaging, and testing for quality - Work with variety of different cables such as round, shielded, flat, and coax cable. - Utilize traditional and non-traditional tools such as cable strippers, cable cutters, crimp tools, heat guns, pliers, screwdrivers, and more) - Assist in the QMS and the commitment for continuous improvement - May be assigned other duties as needed This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Opportunity The ideal candidate must have: - 1-2 years experience in electro- mechanical assembly - Soldering and electrical experience - High School Diploma or equivalent manufacturing work related - Knowledge IPC 610/ 620, J-STD-001 certification preferred - Must have good hand/eye coordination and the ability to use microscopes - Able to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, electrical drawings, etc. - Ability to use hand tools- long nose pliers, side cutter, and soldering iron. - Must be able to distinguish colors - Ability to compute measurements accurately Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM Pay Rate: $19 - $25 per hour, DOE *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
