Skilled Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter with a strong background in healthcare construction. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of carpentry experience in healthcare projects and will work closely with our project teams to ensure the successful completion of multiple projects. Key Responsibilities: • Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, drywall installation, finish carpentry, and general construction work on healthcare and hospital projects. • Install doors, windows, cabinetry, fixtures, and other finishes with precision and adherence to healthcare-specific standards and regulations. • Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications. • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently. • Collaborate with the project manager and field supervisors to ensure timely project completion, while meeting high standards of workmanship. • Perform construction site preparation, layout, and equipment handling. • Maintain safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations and healthcare infection control protocols. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure precision in workmanship and compliance with project requirements. • Communicate with field personnel, subcontractors, and other trades to coordinate work and resolve on-site challenges. • Assist in ordering and managing materials for multiple projects, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. • Participate in job site meetings and report on project status. • Ensure that all carpentry work is completed with zero punch list items and passes all inspections. Qualifications: • 3+ years of carpentry experience in commercial or healthcare construction (required). • Knowledge of HCAi/OSHPD standards and healthcare regulations (preferred). • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project demands. • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and infection control in healthcare settings. • Ability to communicate effectively with the team and follow directions from supervisors. • Proficiency with construction tools and equipment. • Willingness to adapt to changing project demands and maintain a high level of craftsmanship.
