Carpenter (Sterling)

We’re The NOVA Handyman — a growing remodeling business based in Northern Virginia. We’re looking for Carpenters who take pride in their work, are dependable, and want to grow into long-term roles. Full-time or part-time positions available depending on your skill set. What You’ll Do (Skills & Tasks): • Drywall — hanging, finishing, patching • Interior/exterior trim and millwork installation • Basic plumbing work (faucets, toilets, garbage disposals) • Basic electrical (switches, lighting, outlet installs, box prep) • Framing: doorways, walls, niches, small remodels • Deck repair and re-decking • Install LVP (luxury vinyl plank) / flooring • General handyman tasks: doors, door hardware, blinds, hanging photos etc. • Read and execute on job scopes, coordinate with lead carpenters and operations What You Bring: • Lives in Northern Virginia (must be commutable) • 2+ years of hands-on experience in remodeling or general carpentry • Valid driver’s license (and ability to drive company vehicle) • Ability to pass background check • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship • Comfortable using software tools (Jobber, QuickBooks, etc.) • Good communication skills, timeliness, accountability • English required; bilingual (e.g. Spanish) a plus Pay & Benefits: • $20-35/hr (depending on experience & skill) • Benefits after 1 year (health, PTO, etc) • Opportunity for advancement into lead carpenter role • Uniform & tools will be provided How to Apply (please include this in your reply): 1.
