About CJ Environmental CJ Environmental is a fast-growing IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and electronics recycling company based in Canton, MA. We handle the full process of receiving, sorting, testing, and repurposing computers and other IT equipment to promote sustainability and responsible reuse. Position Overview We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Computer Test Technician to join our warehouse operations team. This role combines hands-on computer testing with general warehouse work — including organizing inventory, moving equipment, and preparing pallets for shipment. You’ll work with a variety of computer hardware, assist in maintaining organized work areas, and help keep our warehouse running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Test and evaluate computers, laptops, and related equipment to determine functionality. Boot systems to BIOS and perform basic diagnostics (CPU, RAM, hard drive, etc.). Record serial numbers, specifications, and test results into our tracking system. Label and organize equipment for resale, recycling, or further processing. Move, stack, and palletize IT equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with general warehouse operations such as weighing materials, wrapping pallets, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. Support inventory control by helping track and organize incoming and outgoing shipments. Qualifications Basic understanding of computer hardware and software setup. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and lifting up to 50 lbs. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a team environment. Preferred Experience Previous experience testing or repairing computers and electronics. Familiarity with Dell, HP, and Lenovo hardware platforms. Experience with basic diagnostic tools or testing software.
