Shifts are from 430pm until 900pm. We are looking for someone with a bubbly personality (social butterfly like), ability to multitask under pressure and enthusiastic to assist people and speak intelligently about our product to all our customers. The ideal candidate will take time to study all our dishes, will be familiar with authentic Italian food, will enjoy working in a fast pace mom and pops place and will take pride in impressing customer providing intuitive and hospitable service. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an eloquent vocabulary, and will be comfortable to continuously communicate with all team member in a loud and very busy setting. Our Pasta Shop is a tiny sophistication free Mom and Pop establishment, where we aim to provide very high quality food and very friendly service, just like in Italy. Working at our Pasta Shop is a lot of hard work, yet it is a rewarding environment with great co-workers, very minimum staff turnover and competitive pay. Jos description includes: * Greetings customers * Study our dishes so that to be able to provide educated suggestions * Answering the phone according to our etiquette * Provide suggestions about our dishes, so that to properly represent our culinary concept * Ring in order using an IPAD point of sales system * Take order and time orders according to our standard, so that to ensure that all orders have enough time to be prepared. * Gather all cooked dishes and bag them according to our standards * Set up tables for dining experience * Deliver food orders to the table in a accurate fashion and provide continuous table maintenance. * Clean and sanitize table as needed * Speak intelligently about our food displaying food knowledge and providing suggestions tailored to the customer preferences * Handle billing process: cash payments, credit cards payment and gift cards payment * Keep the cashiering station neat and organized trough the shift * Clean up cashier station before going home * Reconcile all payments at the end of the shift, to ensure all payments are accounted for Requirement for this position are: * Ability to work under pressure while keeping organized * Minimum of one consecutive year of experience as Server or Admin * Ability to continuously communicate eloquently and effectively with all team members with a loud and clear voice * Proficiency in basic math calculation * Intuitive, outgoing and bubbly personality * Ability to multitask
