Astor Wines & Spirits, an employee owned company and well established, busy retail store, is seeking a hard-working, reliable and detail oriented individual to join our team as an Sales Floor / Internet Sales Assistant. Daily responsibilities include managing incoming orders placed through our website, helping to fulfill these orders, and communicating with other departments and customers to resolve issues. Excellent customer service skills are required, both written and by phone. This is also a physical, on-your-feet position for someone ready to hustle. You must be able to lift 40 lbs and go up and down stairs. A basic working knowledge of wine and spirits is also required. In addition to hourly pay, we offer health insurance, accrued vacation time, a 401(k) and opportunity for growth within the company. We are hiring for Full-Time, which includes weekends and holidays. If you come across a spill, alert a manager and remain by the spill until assistance arrives with mop/dry cloths. A wooden “caution wet floor” sign should also be displayed during and after cleaning spillage.
